The previous generation Nissan Murano enjoyed tremendous success when it was launched in 2005, and became the best-selling large-size SUV in the following year.
"The recent slew of new model launches like Nissan Qashqai and Teana in August has gathered sales momentum by up to 50% month to month," said Mr Ron Lim, General Manager of Tan Chong Motor Sales Pte Ltd. "We are confident that this new generation Murano will also do well given its strong following. Overall there are only two words to describe the new Murano - SOPHISTICATION & LUXURY. Many that have seen it so far have even dubbed it the 'Black Label' of SUV!"
The new generation Nissan Murano featuring new exterior and interior designs, enhanced technology and new premium driving feel, available in a refined VQ-series 3.5-litre DOHC V6 engine, is already in town. The fact that it can be available just weeks after its launch in Japan at the end of September is evidence of Nissan's confidence in the new Murano's success in Singapore.
The new Murano will feature some cool bits like the new generation Xtronic CVT, factory-fitted 18-inch wheels and memory function for driver's seat and steering wheel.
Prices will start, with a pre-launch offer, from S$130,500 for the standard model, and will cost up to S$134,500 for the sunroof-equipped version.
