Hyundai i10 to get new turbocharged engine

Hyundai had previously showcased a similar engine in their Hyundai i10 Blue CNG concept at the Geneva Motor Show last year, but that version was powered by compressed natural gas with a power output of 97bhp. Hyundai has since decided to make the car into a purely petrol-powered model, and it is likely to carry the moniker of Hyundai i10 i-Blue.
The i10 i-Blue will be launched sometime next year, with a price tag slightly above the top-of-the-line 1.2 Style model. However, it will still be competitively priced, as the made-in-India i10 benefits from low production costs, and the 800cc turbocharged 3-cylinder engine will most likely be shared with other products, including those from sister brand Kia.
