Now though, Suzuki has announced that it will pull the wraps off another environmentally friendly vehicle at the Tokyo Motor Show. The SX4 FCV is a fully-electric vehicle with a fuel cell developed by General Motors. The fuel cell is coupled with a high pressure hydrogen tank and a light and compact capacitor, while the SX4 FCV also boasts of brake regenerative technology. Suzuki is currently testing the SX4 FCV on Japanese public roads.
Other features on Suzuki's Tokyo Motor Show stand include the MIO, which is an electric wheelchair powered by a direct methanol fuel cell, and fuel cell technology will also be seen in a version of their Burgmann scooter.
