Superchips gives the BMW 320d an extra boost

The remapping package is designed for the 320d model with its 2.0-litre, 175bhp turbo diesel engine. The redesigned engine software adds an additional 44bhp and 103Nm to the diesel four-cylinder unit, bringing the maximum power output up to 220bhp and 444Nm of torque.

Despite the power increase, Superchips claim that the 320d’s fuel economy is not only unaffected, but in some cases even improved, due to the additional torque available at lower revs as a result of the tuning.

The ECU remap is available to British owners of the 320d, and is covered by a full Customer Service Guarantee and warranty. The kit can be purchased and self-uploaded in a few minutes using the Bluefin handset, or installed at the premises of Superchips’ dealership.
