Chevrolet Cruze gets a new tuning kit from Irmscher

The car will be presented at the Auto Mobil International (AMI) show in Leipzig, Germany, which will be held this week. Called the Chevrolet Cruze Irmscher Edition, the car gets an optional boot lid spoiler along with 18-inch alloy wheels shod in beefier 225 sport tyres and aluminium door sills.

The performance modifications to the Cruze Irmscher Edition include a suspension that has been reduced by 25mm, exhaust silencers with elliptical twin exits and an increase in power for the 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine.

The Cruze Irmscher Edition now produces 186bhp and 466Nm of torque, which is an increase of 36bhp and 146Nm from the standard Cruze 2.0 turbo diesel. Irmscher says that this allows the Cruze Irmscher edition to go from 0-100km/h in 8 seconds.
