Nissan Murano gets a new diesel engine and revised styling

The new front end is a result of the installation of the new diesel engine, which requires additional cooling airflow through the radiators. As such, a mild redesign was required, and the Murano diesel now has a new grille, reshaped bumper and different fog lamps.

The diesel poweplant is a 2.5-litre four-cylinder unit which produces 190bhp and 450Nm of torque. Mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, the Murano 2.5 dCi diesel is able to return a fuel consumption figure of 8 litres per 100km.

Equipment levels on the Murano 2.5 dCi diesel are extensive, with items such as 20-inch alloy wheels, power tailgate and colour rear and kerbside cameras and a navigation system with 7-inch touch screen, HDD 9.3GB music server, iPod, Bluetooth and aux connectivity combined with premium 11 speaker BOSE system all available as standard.
