ABT Sportsline pimps the A5 Sportback

Volkswagen Group's specialist German tuners ABT Sportsline have done it again, this time to the A5 Sportback. The latest aftermarket package tailored for the new Audi A5 Sportback contains very minimal exterior modifications with a number of performance upgrades.

Aesthetic wise,  the car looks largely similar besides having an aero kit consisting of a lower front lip spoiler, fender vents and a rear diffuser insert. The A5 Sportback sits on 19 or 20-inch wheels accompanied by DR alloys.

On top of the discreet body kit there is a 25mm sport spring kit, while a new sports coil over system lowers the car by 50mm. Finishing off the technical highlights are a set of high performance brakes and upgraded callipers.

Upgrades to the powertrain start from the base 1.8-litre TFSI unit, which gets a power upgrade from 170bhp to 211bhp. The 2.0-litre TFSI gets uprated to 270bhp, while the 3.0-litre TFSI now contains 380bhp. The 2.0 and 3.0-litre TDI units are upgraded to 205bhp and 300bhp, respectively.
