Kia has announced the introduction of the new brand 'Horki' for the Chinese market, outlining their ambitions for the country.
Known as Dongfeng Yueda Kia, the automaker's joint venture in China had unraveled the China-only brand 'Horki' with an attractive concept model based on the latest Cerato/Forte platform. It is unclear at this moment whether the concept model will be pushed into production phase.
Nevertheless, the new brand will begin their car sales as early as second half of 2015. The vehicles will be manufactured at one of three Yancheng factories of the joint venture. There are plans for a range of vehicles including hybrid and full-electric models.
