Fire breaks out at Traffic Police headquarters

Thick black smoke was seen billowing into the skies over the Traffic Police headquarters building along Ubi Avenue 3 this afternoon after lunch.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they received a call about a fire at the building at about 1:00pm.
People were seen running out of the building. No one was injured but nine motorcycles within the compound were damaged in the fire.
A fire engine, one Red Rhino, and two fire bikes, which arrived at the scene in three minutes extinguished the fire in 10 minutes.
Investigations are ongoing.
