In the opening rounds at the Ningbo International Speedpark, Singha Plan-B by Absolute Racing's Bhurit Bhirombhakdi and Kantasak Kusiri seized both GT3 victories in masterful fashion. Audi Sport customer racing Asia driver pool member and Cup mentor Adderly Fong of Hong Kong once again teams up with Filipino driver Vincent Floirendo at EN Sport Motors by Absolute Racing. 2018 China GT Championship GT3 leader Xu Jia of Kings makes his series debut this year in Shanghai along with another Audi Sport customer racing Asia driver pool talent, Mitch Gilbert of Malaysia.
In the GTC class, runner-up in both GTC races in Ningbo with Jingwei Yuguo, Zhang Zhiqiang this time teams up with Hong Kong's Jeffery Zee. Joining them in the category are reigning Audi Sport R8 LMS Cup Am+ champion David Chen, partnering with former Cup driver Naomi Zhang at Tianshi Racing Team, and One Team's He Xixi driving solo. Hong Kong's Philip Tang and Tse Ka Hing will fly the flag for Audi in the 2.0T category at the wheel of an Audi RS3 LMS.
