BMW M3 Pickup by BMW M

The M3 Pickup is the fourth body style in BMW's M3 range, after the standard coupe, convertible and four-door sedan. BMW had developed the M3 Pickup by testing it around the Nurburgring, and the car is a special one-off for April Fool's Day.

The M3 Pickup is powered by the same 4.0-litre V8 that is found on all the other M3 models, and produces 414bhp. This means that the M3 Pickup is able to reach a top speed of 300km/h, while at the same time able to take a payload of 450kg with its modified flatbed.

BMW managed to achieve this by lowering the M3 Pickup's centre of gravity, while also shaving about 20kg off the weight of a standard M3. As such, the M3 Pickup weighs 50kg less than the BMW M3 Convertible. The loading area of the M3 Pickup is also made from high-grade structured aluminium sheeting and provides the biggest cargo capacity ever offered on a BMW M vehicle.
