BMW updates the 2 Series Coupe

BMW has updated its 2 Series Coupe.
At the front, the coupe now gets a pearlescent chrome grille surround, while its side skirts and the lower section of its rear apron are no longer finished in black, but instead now come in the exterior colour of the vehicle.

BMW is now offering the M high-gloss Shadow Line as part of the standard equipment for both the new BMW M240i xDrive Coupe as well as the rest of the 2 Series Coupe lineup, while the M Pro Sport Package is offered as an option for all variants of the coupe. This package finishes the car with M Shadow Line lights and an M rear spoiler in sapphire black. Also available is an M sport brake system that finishes the car with red-painted brake callipers and M seatbelts.
The car is also now offered with new Fire Red metallic and Skyscraper Grey metallic exterior colours, while those who opt for the BMW M240i xDrive Coupe will also now be able to get their car in Zandvoort Blue.
Under these new changes, the BMW M240i xDrive Coupe continues to offer a total of 369bhp from its 3.0-litre straight six-cylinder, so it will sprint to 100km/h in 4.3 seconds.
Customers can opt to have their 2 Series Coupe with an M sport brake system that comes with red-painted brake callipers, while the coupe now gets BMW Operating System 8.5 in its 12.3 inch Information Display and 14.9-inch Control Display
A 218i Coupe will also be offered, with a total of 154bhp from its 2.0-litre engine, which will see it completing the same sprint in 8.7 seconds. At the other end of the range is the 230i Coupe, which gets a total of 241bhp, allowing the zero to 100km/h sprint to be settled in 5.9 seconds.
In the cabin, the 2 Series Coupe now comes with a new flat-bottom steering wheel complete with a red centre marker at the 12 o'clock position and contrasting stitching in the colours of BMW M GmbH. M Performtex black seats are offered as standard for the coupe, although M sport seats with partially integrated head restraints are also available as an option.
The fully digital display system of the BMW 2 Series Coupe, which comprises of a 12.3-inch Information Display and a 14.9-inch Control Display also now runs the firm's BMW Operating System 8.5. The air-conditioning vents here are also now controlled by new control knobs.
