BYD flagship showroom opens along Alexandra Road

BYD opened its flagship showroom yesterday evening (22 July 2024), with the occasion being marked with lion dancers and a drone performance.
The event, which was hosted by 98.7 FM DJ Kimberly Wang, was a star-studded one, too, with several notable local artistes such as Zoe Tay and Li Nanxing, in attendance.
The flagship space is located on the first floor of the Vantage Automotive building along Alexandra Road. Previously, the brand operated out of a smaller showroom on the second level of the building.
One would think that this would have affected operations in Singapore, but BYD's strategy in expanding its local dealer network, coupled with competitive pricing, has been widely successful.
Indeed, the carmaker has continued to top the sales charts, thanks to models such as the Atto 3 crossover and Seal sedan. The latter was recently made available as a Cat A COE model. During the event, BYD also announced that the Denza D9 would be in Singapore in October this year. Denza is BYD's luxury brand, and the D9 MPV is slated to be its first contender in this segment.

The new showroom promises an improved customer experience with its larger floor area that houses the brand's entire lineup. Also on display is a wide range of lifestyle merchandise ranging from notebooks to bags to shirts.
Products from the collaboration between BYD and Tocco Toscano are available, too. Tocco Toscano is a Singaporean fashion label known for its vegan-friendly apparel.
Apart from being able to physically test drive the models, customers can experience them virtually through a simulator as well. And most importantly, with e-brochures, potential buyers can explore the various specifications, features and options available on BYD models.
Another key unveiling was the BYD Lifestyle App. Both owners and potential customers alike can use it to view the detailed specifications of the various models, find the nearest dealer and be notified of any ongoing promotions. The App is also a purchasing platform and can be downloaded on either Apple's App Store or the Google Play Store.
Anthony Teo, Managing Director of Vantage Automotive, highlighted the showroom's customer-centric approach.
