What Woodhouse Dodge asked for was possibly the most extreme Viper ever to leave Detroit. They wanted a convertible version of the Viper ACR-X, which is a stripped down, track-only racing version. You can't drive it on the street, but you can drive it around a race track very, very, very fast.
ACR stands for American Club Racing, and the X stands for extreme. Basically, these cars are built for fat, rich people who want to race each other in the Dodge Viper Cup Series™for stock options, and small South American countries.
They start with a standard Viper coupé, then take away all of the extras. No radio, no carpet, no electric windows etc. Then they fit an adjustable racing suspension, enormous brakes, a special aero package, a factory installed roll cage, a racing seat, and ultra-light BBS wheels.
Under the bonnet, the Viper's 600 bhp V10 gets 40 extra horsepower. Thanks to special headers, and a low restriction exhaust.
The 20 Viper SRT10 Convertible ACR Woodhouse-es get all of that, minus the roof and the roll cage. They also get a short-throw shifter, special ultra-light wheels, new 5th and 6th gears ratios, and a unique aero kit with a lower rear wing which was specially developed to compensate for the lack of a roof.
This special edition Viper can be had in yellow, white, red, or black. And, you can have dual racing stripes, or just one on the drivers' side. But, you can only get one at™Woodhouse Dodge™in Nebraska.
To get there, go to the middle of nowhere™then turn left.
