Fire breaks out at Toh Guan Road carpark with explosions heard

The Straits Times reported that a fire broke out in a multi-storey carpark along Toh Guan Road on Thursday evening at about 5:30pm. Residents said that the fire started in a van, and spread to two motorcycles.
Mr. Andrew Yeo, 49, told the local paper that he was parking his car on the top floor when he heard a loud explosion. He decided to drive down and exit the carpark, but heard three more explosions. Mr. Yeo then drove back up to the top storey and called the police.
When The Straits Times arrived at the scene, the whole carpark was cordoned off. Officers from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and police were present on the scene. Investigations are ongoing.
