Land Rover extends features from Anniversary model to all Discovery models

Land Rover continues to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Discovery with options for customers to add striking features from the XXV Special Edition Anniversary model. The enhancements are available for order now with customer deliveries starting from September.
Customers can also bring the added touch of luxury with the option of a dual-tone leather seats and the grand black lacquer wood and leather wrapped steering wheel.
A new straight grained walnut wood and leather steering wheel is also available, with respective wood veneer sets offered as an additional customer option to further enhance the exceptional feel of the interior.
The exterior can also be enhanced with the XXV 20-inch five-split spoke forged alloy wheels with a light silver polished finish, increasing the number of 20-inch wheel styles to four.
New body colours are also available, including a new metallic white colour, dubbed Yulong, which will be available at a later date.
Moreover, in-car technologies receive a boost with the introduction of Land Rover's optional 'InControl Apps' in a number of key markets. The smartphone mirroring technology provides the convenience, familiarity and original look and feel of compatible apps in the Discovery's central touchscreen system. The owner must first download Land Rover InControl Apps from either the Apple App Store or Google Play - compatible with the latest Apple (iPhone 5 and later) and Android smartphones (Android version 4.0 and later).
The Land Rover Discovery continues to drive power and all-terrain capability with efficient diesel and petrol engine options when matched with Stop/Start technology and the refined ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic transmission.
The supercharged 3.0-litre V6 generates 335bhp and 450Nm of torque. Combined CO2 emissions stand at 269g/km with a fuel economy of 8.7km/L. The 208bhp rated 3.0-litre TDV6 remains to be the entry-level diesel engine option, delivering 12.8km/L and a CO2 figure of 207g/km on a combined cycle. The higher powered, 252bhp rated, 3.0-litre SDV6 returns 12.5km/L and 213g/km of CO2 emissions.
