Land Rover Singapore celebrates 70 years

As part of the year-long jubilee celebrations, Land Rover Singapore will be marking its 70^th anniversary with a series of events in the month of July. Every weekend entails fun activities, delectable delights and a display of Land Rover classic cars.

The classics that will be displayed include Series I, Series II, Series IIA, Series III, Defender, first generation Range Rover, first generation Discovery and the only Series II Lightweight model in Singapore. The Series II Lightweight, also known as '1/2 Ton Lightweight' dates back to the 1965 era when the British Army required to carry a lighter vehicle to be carried by air.

Touching on its rich heritage, the collection of Land Rover classics will be on display outside the Land Rover Showroom during the weekends in the month of July.
