McLaren has revealed its lineup for the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The firm is marking its 60th anniversary at the event with two global dynamic debuts, while a host of other cars are also set to take on the hill climb at the festival.
The firm's presence at the festival will be headlined by the new 750S, which utilises a twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 that develops a total of 740bhp and 900Nm of torque. With more power and less weight than the 720S, the 750S can complete the century sprint in just 2.8 seconds.
Also making its public dynamic debut on the famous Goodwood Hillclimb is the McLaren Solus GT. A track-only development of a futuristic concept featured in the Gran Turismo Sport video game title, the Solus GT makes use of a naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 that produces 829bhp and 650Nm of torque, while weighing less than 1,000kg.
The first Solus GT production car will also be on display at McLaren House, the brand's home for the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Also running in the 'Supercar' and 'Manufacturer' batches will be a selection of McLaren models both past and present. These include the Artura, the P1, as well as the Senna and Elva.
A host of McLaren's greatest racing machines are also set to feature at the festival, with Mika Hakkinen scheduled to return to the wheel of the MP4/14, while Bruno Senna will be driving Ayrton Senna's 1991 Formula One World Championship-winning MP4/6. McLaren's Le Mans 24 Hour race winner JJ Lehto will also take Lewis Hamilton's 2008 MP4/23 Formula One Championship winner at the hill climb.
