Mercedes-Benz introduces Special Edition for C-Class

Mercedes has announced a new Special Edition for the C-Class to be launched in Germany. The car will include technology systems such as Agility Control, Adaptive Brake, BlueEfficiency and the Intelligent Light System, some of which are only available on high end models as optional extras.

The exterior has also been given minor tweaks, with darkened headlamps, new paintwork and five-spoke 17-inch alloys among the changes.

Other additions include front fog lamps, a revised front grille with silver matt and chrome, adaptive headlights with bi-xenon lamps and Parktronic reverse sensor system. Chrome adorns the rear bumper and boot lid and the B-pillar has been repainted in a glossy black.

Inside, Mercedes has fitted the car with their Avantgarde trim, with specially made two-tone leather seats and floor mats with "Special Edition" engraved upon them.

The Special Edition C-Class will be available in both saloon and estate forms, with all engine options being made available, including their redeveloped four-cylinder turbo diesels.
