Mercedes has revealed the first images of the interior of the EQE SUV, which is absolutely swarmed with screens. The EQE SUV will be the multi-purpose variant of the EQE executive saloon, available just like the latter model with the key innovations of the EQS. It will also have a higher emphasis on dynamics than the more comfort oriented EQS SUV.
The EQE SUV is based on the large electric platform from Mercedes-EQ. It also boasts an interior that has been consistently digitalised. The optional MBUX Hyperscreen clearly has a role in the digitalisation of the interior, with the entire instrument panel being one ultimate widescreen.
The interior images also show the car is set to get dominant outer vents which possess a turbine design inspired by the hyper analogue theme.
The front section of the centre console meanwhile, joins the instrument panel and is free standing in space.
Mercedes claims that the materials and colours used in the EQE SUV are a mix of avantgarde and traditional elements, giving the interior a unique atmosphere. With the five co-ordinated colour combinations, the EQE SUV is immersed in a luxurious and atmospheric world of colour comprising warm and cool tones.
Finally, a hybrid trim element will also bring together the warmth of wood with the technical coolness of real aluminium. This element will sport an anthracite 3D relief look finish and features fine metal pigments, and features laser cut trim elements backlit with the Mercedes‑Benz pattern to create a truly special ambience.
