Toyota RAV4 gets new Woodland Edition in the U.S.A
Toyota has unveiled a new RAV4 Hybrid Woodland Edition in the U.S.A.
The special edition car gets a two-tone exterior, available in either Army Green or Ice Cap, both of which are paired to a Midnight Black Metallic roof. For those that want a more discreet look, however, a Midnight Black exterior is also available.
This exterior will come paired with bronze 18-inch TRD flow-formed alloy wheels which wear Falken Wildpeak all-terrain tyres. The car also gets stylish touches including a dual black chrome-tipped exhaust, while its badging, door handles, and rear hatch garnish are all also finished in black.
Finally, the car also comes with an activity mount as standard at the rear, which can support a cargo carrier or tray style bike rack. Those that need more space still can utilise the black roof rails that come with cross bars to pack a variety of supplies for a weekend trip.
In the cabin, the RAV4 Hybrid Woodland Edition comes with all-weather floor mats that bear a special Woodland logo, befitting an adventure-ready vehicle. Standard privacy glass on all rear side, quarter, and the liftgate windows will give occupants added privacy when the car is parked up at a campsite
The Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Woodland Edition comes powered by a 2.5-litre four-cylinder paired to a hybrid system as well as an e-AWD system that sends power to the rear wheels via an electric motor that should allow it to handle some light off-roading.
Also aiding here is a trail-tailored suspension that has been tuned by TRD. This suspension system is said to have been engineered to deliver enhanced body control and small-bump isolation, while utilising coil springs that have been tuned to maximise compression-direction wheel travel.
