Upcoming Volkswagen ID. Cross previewed on Amsterdam roads

Volkswagen has announced that the ID. Cross, which recently debuted on the streets of Amsterdam in a striking camouflage wrap, will be launched on the European market from Q4 2026 onwards.

The exterior of the ID. Cross is characterised by the new Pure Positive Volkswagen design language with clear lines, balanced proportions and a high-quality appearance. Its interior conveys a sense of calm and clarity, while the materials and workmanship are oriented towards higher vehicle classes. Five seats, efficient use of space and intuitive functions and buttons, as well as large format displays, round off the high-quality overall impression.

The five-seat car is said to be aimed at customers who want to enjoy affordable, first-class mobility suitable for everyday use

With regards to the drive system, the upcoming ID. Cross will offer differing power levels of 85kW, 99kW, and 155kW. This is combined with two battery sizes: 37kWh and 52kWh, offering DC fast charging of 90kW and 105kW respectively.

In addition, modern assist systems support the driver and contribute to a high level of comfort.
