Editorial Reviews

What we like
Utterly soft and smooth ride
Punchy enough for local roads
Long list of standard equipment
Plenty of safety features
Relatively accessible
What we don’t like
Brakes are tricky to modulate
May be too pliant for some
Steering lacks feel

Wow.
If you were blindfolded and took for a ride in this car, chances are you would put out the big names like Porsche, Mercedes-Benz or BMW. So the fact that you see the BYD logo on the steering wheel just speaks for itself. The comfort of this car is quite magnificent. Its suspension absorbs bumps and irregularities on the road so well you wouldn't even notice there was one to begin with. Steering is alright, but don't expect to have fun with it. This is a car focusing on comfort for the family, and it does that pretty well! The seats are really plush, the ride is really soft, and there's pretty good space for all.

Battery range is FAKE. I have been driving my seal dynamic for 1 year. Actual battery range only 240-280km at best. Told service center, they gave all sorts of excuses, say heavy foot driving. I've tried light foot at 60km/hr everywhere I go. Also same. 250km. Do not buy unless u mind charging for AC 8 hours/DC 1.5hre every 250km.... Read More
