I have never owned a brand-new car in Singapore before. For the past 40 years, I've driven various brands — from popular Japanese models to continental cars. Now, with the Leapmotor C10 from China, I've made a major shift from ICE to EV. Before deciding, I came across many negative comments about EVs that made me hesitate. However, I realized most of these concerns often came from people who did not fully understand what EVs can truly offer beyond fuel savings. For the sake of our planet and future generations, it is time for each of us to take responsibility — to go green and embrace EVs for a more sustainable Singapore.
