Jaecoo J5 is my first EV car which I bought because it suits my wife and my needs the most, after having checked out 5 other EV brands. I am leaving this review after running 500+ km over the past 2+ weeks. I have made the right purchase. The boot space is great, being able to accommodate 2 full sized golf bags without having to flatten a back passenger seat. It delivers better than stated in the brochure - running above 7km/kwh (higher means lower running cost) and about 410km on a full charge. It feels very powerful, with fast acceleration (it's a Cat B COE car). Apparently it can reach 100km/hr speed in less than 8 sec. Based on research, I have not come across any car in the same price range of below $190k that delivers such power. We love all the electronics included, especially the aircon remote start, front seats ventilation, the wireless charging and the seemless Bluetooth connection to my Android phone and my wife's I-phone to use Spotify and Google navigation systems. The car doesn't provide its own navigation system ( seems like the only EV car that doesn't have this function) but then this is better since we're more familiar with our own phones' navigation systems.
