Mercedes-Benz has revealed the new C-Class All-Terrain.
The C-Class All-Terrain offers 40mm more ground clearance than the conventional C-Class Estate. The standard 4Matic all-wheel drive, and two off-road driving modes allow the the C-Class All-Terrain to make light work of light terrain.

At the rear, the C-Class All-Terrain gets a unique multi-section bumper with a model-specific, chrome-plated load sill guard. A simulated underride guard here further underlines the special nature of this vehicle.
In the cabin, the C-Class All-Terrain gets the Avantgarde interior as standard for the All-Terrain. Three colour concepts: Black, Macchiato Beige / Black, or Sienna Brown / Black, are offered for the interior.
The sporty rear of the All-Terrain retains the C-Class Estate's load capacity of 490 litres, which expands to 1,510 litres with the seats folded.
The rear seat backrest of the Estate model is 40:20:40 split-folding. Mercedes-Benz's Easy-Pack tailgate is included as standard, allowing the tailgate to be conveniently opened or closed at the touch of a button, using the button on the ignition key, the switch in the driver's door or the release handle on the tailgate.
For balanced ride comfort and high driving stability, the comfort suspension with a passive damping system is standard for the C-Class All-Terrain. The new setup can improve ride comfort by reducing the damping effect, or when the shocks are more severe, the full damping action ensures more stability.
In addition to the regular diving modes, the C-Class All-Terrain has two further Dynamic Select modes for off-road driving. 'Offroad' is designed for easy terrain such as dirt roads, gravel or sand, while 'Offroad+' with Downhill Speed Regulation is recommended for somewhat heavier and steeper terrain.
Mercedes' 4Matic all-wheel drive system is offered as standard for the C-Class All-Terrain. Under normal conditions, the system will deliver up to 45% of the engine power to the front axle, with the remaining 55% going to the rear axle.
