Having previously announced that the new Megane will be making its debut at this month's Frankfurt Motor Show, Renault has now officially released photos detailing the new model.
With its distinctive, dynamic and meticulous design, the new Megane aims to stand out in its highly competitive segment through its dynamic styling and distinctive front and rear lighting signatures. The new Megane boasts C-shaped headlamps at the front that continues into the bumper, as well as a new lighting signature at the rear that goes across the car to increase perceived width of the vehicle.
The new Megane is also lower and wider than its predecessor, its sporty silhouette now sitting squarely on the road. Chrome elements emphasise the top of the belt line and enhance the grille, side badges and door handles.
An exclusive GT version of the new Megane will also be available from launch. The Megane GT features a broader air intake, a redesigned front grillel, chromed tailpipes and an F1-inspired rear spoiler. The GT will be available with the new 'Iron Blue' paintwork, combined with 'Dark Metal' touches at the front and on the body-coloured door mirrors. It will also have Renaultsport-developed 18-inch aluminium wheels.
More details about the new Renault Megane's interior design, technologies as well as the range of engines available can be expected when the car premieres at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
