The Pioneer AVH-X8850BT is the brand's flagship Multimedia Receiver, and features the latest technologies and comes equipped with a responsive, powerful and intuitive user interface. The modern interface is accessed via a new 7.0-inch clear resistive touchscreen display that provides brighter, more vibrant colours and increased touch sensitivity, making it more responsive than traditional resistive touch panels, and on par with capacitive screens. You can enjoy superb visual clarity under bright daylight conditions with wider viewing angles.

The Pioneer AVH-X8850BT also supports high-quality audio, including support for Free Lossless Audio Codec (FLAC) files. The multimedia receiver is able to play FLAC files at up to 48 kHz/24 bit high-resolution CD-quality audio playback, perfect for audiophiles. It features specialised audio components such as a Digital Signal Processor and high-tolerance acoustic capacitors in order to reinforce Pioneer's dedication to high-quality audio.

AppleCarPlay

The AVH-X8850BT features Apple CarPlay, and with the stiff local regulations on using a mobile device while driving, Apple CarPlay offers a smarter, safer and more fun way to use an iPhone in the car. With Apple CarPlay, you have an incredibly intuitive way to make calls, access messages and listen to music. You can either operate it using the 7.0-inch touchscreen, or using voice commands via Siri.

With Apple CarPlay, you also have access to Apple Maps. This means that you have navigation functions immediately at your fingertips, negating the need to install a separate navigation system in your car. The power and simplicity of Apple Maps also allows its to predict where you most likely want to go, based on addresses from your email, texts, contacts, and calenders, and will suggest the best route along with how long the journey will take.

AppRadioMODE and AppRadioLIVE

AppRadio Mode is Pioneer's proprietry free application to view and control third-party utilities, navigational aids and social networks installed on iOS and Android Smartphones. AppRadio Mode is also compatible with AppRadioLIVE, which aggregates maps, music, news and events into four interactive quadrants on screen. It helps to simplify your drive by combining the information you need during your commute into a single, simple-to-use interface, offering quick and easy access to personalised information needed in the in-vehicle environment.

Spotify on the go

Through Apple CarPlay, you can now have the ability to control content from the Spotify app on iPhone devices. Play, pause and skip tracks, browse playlists, albums and radio stations on the go, directly from the dashboard. With Spotify, you have access to over 30 million songs, ready-made playlists to suit your mood, and the ability to discover new music with your own personal playlist.

Direct Smartphone Control
