2013 MINI Countryman: Same old but more user friendly
05 Nov 2012|2,816 views
MINI has unveiled the all-new 2013 Countryman, which is slated for launch later this month. The new model does not differ much from its predecessor, with some minor updates received.
While the styling revisions might not seem that significant, the model is however designed in mind to be more user-friendly than any of its previous incarnations. That being said, the updated Countryman has door-mounted window switches, new armrests and revised door inserts that "enhance the car's premium ambience, comfort and practicality." There's also new rings around the speedometer and air vents that have a Carbon Black outer ring as well as a black or chrome inner ring.
Another change will come in the form of seats as the model now comes with a rear bench seat instead of the individual rear seats seen in previous models. Users who prefer the individual rear seats though, can still request for it at no extra cost.
In terms of engine options, the updated model inherits the same from its predecessor, but manual versions of the MINI One Countryman and MINI Cooper Countryman will meet the EU6 emission standards that is set to kick in as early as 2014.
