A bullish year for Lamborghini as it records its best half-year ever

Lamborghini has reported its best half-year performance in terms of sales, turnover and profitability. Lamborghini recorded global deliveries at 5,090 units (an increase of 4.9%) while financial indicators turnover reached $1.87 billion, marking an increase of 30.6% over the first six months of 2021.
Operating profit also went up 69.6%, going from $353 million to $598 million. The corresponding operating margin was 31.9% after 24.6% in the previous year period. The reasons cited for this increase was said to be driven by an increase in volume with the product mix, higher customisation and positive exchange rates.
In terms of model spilt, the Urus Super SUV is responsible for 61% of sales while the Huracan and Aventador accounted for 39%.
As for the deliveries worldwide, America, Asia Pacific and EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) accounted for 34%, 25% and 41% of global volumes respectively. The United States is the number one market at 1,521 units, followed by the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Macau at 576 units, Germany at 468 units, the United Kingdom at 440 units and the Middle East at 282 units.
