ABT have shown their handiwork on the new Audi A6 sedan and Avant models powered by diesel engines. Dubbed the AS6, the tuning kit starts with the basic 2.0-litre four-cylinder TDI, with an ECU upgrade that increase power output from 174bhp to 202bhp.The three variants of Audi's 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 TDI gets upgraded power as well. The base unit gets a power bump from 201bhp to 266bhp, the 242bhp to 296bhp and the range topper gets upgraded to 355bhp from 309bhp.
Besides the powertrain upgrade, consumers can also upgrade other components like a performance braking system, a sports suspension kit. Cosmetic enhancements come from a selection of alloy wheels from 19 to 21-inches and a refined aero kit with the usual a front and rear spoiler, side skirts, and rear apron set with exhaust tips.
