2025 GT World Challenge Asia sees 3 Audi R8 LMS GT3 entries

Audi has announced that they will be entering three R8 LMS GT3 entries for the 2025 GT World Challenge Asia.

The UNO Racing Team will make up one entry and enter a strong lineup of experienced campaigner Shaun Thong and young talent Rio to compete for the Silver Cup. Meanwhile, the FAW Audi Sport Asia Team Phantom will enter reigning GT3 Silver champion Cheng Congfu and young talent Yu Kuai. The last entry will be made up of Markus Winkelhock and Bao Jinlong, who will gear up for a Pro-Am attack with Audi Sports Asia Team Phantom.

The UNO Racing Team's R8 LMS GT3 evo II will be driven by experienced campaigner Shaun Thong alongside teammate Rio, who will be making his debut at his first full GT World Challenge Asia season

Both the FAW Audi Sports Asia Team Phantom and Audi Sport Asia Team Phantom entries will sport new, bespoke liveries for the new season, which are inspired by Chinese folklore. The cars have been designed by Audi Design China and will feature bold graphics with racing red, white gold, super silver sage, and black details. Meanwhile, the UNO Racing Team's R8 LMS GT3 evo II will sport a pink livery.

The 2025 GT World Challenge Asia will kick off with a pre-qualifying at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia on 11 April 2025, 3:00pm local time.
