The Audi SQ5 is a limited production vehicle to be formally presented at the upcoming Paris Motor Show as the 'SQ5 TDI Audi exclusive concept'. The performance SUV will preview new design solutions in the interior with an exclusive exterior finish for a limited 50-vehicle production run to begin from the first quarter of 2013.
The SQ5 TDI is finished in an exclusive Aral Blue crystal effect and not foregoing the S model tradition, the exterior mirrors are finished in an aluminium-look. Xenon plus headlights with LED daytime-running lights are standard on the front while four exhaust tailpipes dominate the rear.
The interior of the SQ5 amazes your vision with striking contrasts. The leather steering wheel and the gear lever are finished in black Fine Nappa leather highlighted by a contrasting snow white stitch job. The centre armrest and dashboard cover receive a similar treatment as well. The black sport seats get additional woven leather in the centre section which is touted as a first for a production vehicle on top of the above mentioned trim job.
The Alcantara headlining, the blind for the sunroof, the inlays and applications in the doors shimmer in snow white. The open-pored veneer has been specially treated to emphasise the grain. The door trims and the entry sills are decked with Audi exclusive badges.
Production of the SQ5 TDI Audi exclusive concept is limited to 50 examples, and the price in Germany will be €92,000 (S$147,317). It will be launched in the first quarter of 2013 together with the SQ5 TDI, which will be available from dealerships for €58,500 (S$93,674).
