Avus Performance unveils super Audi TT-RS

The performance upgrade sees the standard TT-RS Coupe’s 2.5 litre turbocharged inline-five powerplant receive a 110bhp boost, with a modified turbo, reprogrammed ECU and a new exhaust system bringing total power output up to 450bhp.
Avus says that their new modified TT-RS now goes from 0-100km/h in 3.8 seconds, faster than the standard TT-RS’ time of 4.6 seconds. Top speed has now been increased from 280km/h on the standard car, to 312km/h.
The suspension has also been given a makeover, with adjustable coil-over shocks that lower the ride height and help the RS handle the corners, while the exterior has been given a matt-black finish using a vinyl wrap, along with a set of 20-inch Sportec Mono alloy wheels in a glossy black finish shod in 255/30/20 Hankook S1 Evo tyres. There are also two Recaro bucket seats and other accessories for the upgrade package, which Avus has decided to name the Ur-Quattro, after the famous Audi coupe of the 1980s.
