Blast from the past: The Mini Remastered, Oselli Edition is officially launched

The new Mini Remastered, Oselli Edition has been revealed, with the first examples completed and awaiting customer deliveries. The highly-tuned performance version of the iconic city car was developed in partnership with race powertrain specialists, Oselli. Produced by David Brown Automotive, a limited edition automobile manufacturer, it is the most performance-focused version of the Mini Remastered created to date by the company.

The Mini Remastered is a newly-constructed interpretation of the original Mini built from 1959 to 2000. Unlike the original, the Mini Remastered comes with modern features such as power-assisted steering and an infotainment system.

Hand-built in the Silverstone factory of David Brown Automotive, the one-of-a-kind, race-ready city car is the most powerful Mini Remastered ever created. The car delivers 123bhp at 6,200rpm and 153Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm, and boasts an impressive 0-100km/h time of 7.8 seconds. The Mini Remastered, Oselli Edition is equally at home on city streets as it is on the racetrack.

To make the Mini Remastered, Oselli Edition track-ready, the vehicle incorporates various performance-enhancing features such as a strengthened crankshaft, a limited-slip differential, high-performance brakes by AP Racing and sports-orientated suspension by Bilstein. The car comes with larger 13-inch wheels fitted with high-speed-approved tyres. Although it is constructed with a five-speed manual gearbox as standard, an automatic version is also available.

A selection of unique exterior colourways are available, such as the 'Carbon Grey' and 'Old English White' base colours, which match a variety of customizable accents.

The grille displays the number '60' in contrasting hues to commemorate the 60 years since the original Mini first rolled off the production line. Full LED headlamps with auxiliary spot lights offer unparalleled illumination.

An interior lined with hand-trimmed luxury leather and Alcantara emphasises the premium look and feel of the Mini Remastered, Oselli Edition. The car can be ordered in either a two or four-seat configuration, with the two-seater featuring bucket seats, a rear hand-trimmed roll cage, and a four-point seatbelt harness, which add to the feel of a car intended for the racetrack.

The Mini Remastered, Oselli Edition will be limited to 60 bespoke models.
