Picture this: You're cruising down the PIE in your BMW. Suddenly, the engine sputters. That, or your tyre suddenly feels deflated, much like your mood in the next second. You pull over, muttering a string of expletives and anxiously calculating this month's finances. Then, it hits you: "Hold on, everything's okay because I own a BMW."
BMW Group Asia is taking roadside assistance (RSA) in Singapore to a whole new level with the introduction of two new BMW Servicemobiles, which are transformed X1 models (replacing the older generation X1s that were used for the same purpose since 2021).
Forget Captain America or Iron Man, the real hero is the tradesman carrying a toolbox, a skillset, and a smile
"With our new fleet of BMW X1 Roadside Assistance Servicemobiles, our customers have 24/7 access to an RSA Breakdown Hotline; onsite diagnosis; towing coverage from anywhere in Singapore, Malaysia, and 80km into Thailand; Real Time Tracking of towing; mobile charging for EVs, and much more," pledges BMW Group Asia. Well, at least one of us has no issues with commitment.
In the worst-case scenarios, all BMW and MINI models are fitted with Intelligent Emergency Call, which automatically sends information regarding the vehicle to the call centre within seconds of a major accident. BMW Group Asia also promises that the SIM card installed in the car is crash-proof, so Intelligent Emergency Call is always on standby. Think of it as the partner that will never ghost you or leave you on read… okay fine we're sold, sheesh.
"Beyond the technical support, we also want our customers to relax and know we care." Well damn, we know others who have gotten down on one knee for less. Time to give BMW a ring, both literally and figuratively.
