BMW M Motorsport ready for Le Mans 24 Hours return

BMW will make its competitive return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans this week. BMW Team MTEK will field two new BMW M8 GTE cars in the highly-competitive GTE Pro class. The lineup comprises from six BMW works drivers.
Car number #81 will be piloted by Martin Tomczyk, Nick Catsburg and Philipp Eng, while car number #82 duties fall to Antonio Felix da Costa, Alexander Sims and Augusto Farfus. The Le Mans race week has kicked off with technical scrutineering in the city centre on Monday.
On Friday, the M Motorsport Hospitality will be the venue for a truly special unveiling - the BMW 8 Series Coupe will be presented to the public for the first time in Le Mans. From the race track to the street, findings from the FIA World Endurance Championship project were incorporated directly into production development.
