BMW releases Japan-only special edition Z4

In honour of one of its most important markets, BMW has said that it will build 15 Z4 Silver Top Edition's to be sold in Japan.

The car features a black paint job, with a silver roof and silver side mirrors, accented by a red leather interior.

Based on the BMW Z4 sDrive23i, the Silver Top Edition sports a 2.5 litre straight-6 that produces 204-hp. And all Silver Top's get BMW's 6-speed automatic, with the ambiguous paddle-shifters.

Just 15 of these cars will be built, and deliveries are scheduled to start in April 2011.
