Bugatti begins deliveries of the Mistral

The first units of the hand-assembled Mistral roadster have left the Bugatti factory in France and are headed to the USA., where their owners reside.
Unveiled in 2022, the Bugatti Mistral embarked on a global tour that saw it premiere in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. The car also visited Singapore and Tokyo. To date, it remains the world's fastest production roadster, capable of hitting an incredibly eye-watering top speed of 453.91km/h.
Primarily responsible for this is the car's quad-turbocharged 8.0-litre W16 engine, which is in its highest state of tune, allowing it to kick out a mighty 1,557bhp. This puts the Mistral on a par with the Chiron Super Sport 300+.
The journey that these first Mistral units will take also marks the end of a chapter in Bugatti's history, for it is the final production model to be powered by the W16 engine.
Both Mistrals pay tribute to the elegance that define their design. One unit features a 'Black Carbon' finish and 'Bugatti Light Blue Sport' accents. This combination of elegance and boldness is seen inside the cockpit, which features 'Bugatti Light Blue Sport' leather upholstery with 'Beluga Black' stitching, along with 'Black Carbon' matte accents.
In contrast to its sibling is the pure white Mistral, which Bugatti says is a "design resplendent in sleekness". It features a duotone body finished in 'White Glacier' with 'Blue Carbon' touches that are complemented by 'Atlantic Blue' and 'Italian Red' accents. The engine cover is carbon fibre and features polished aluminium highlights.
Reflecting its exterior, the 'White Glacier' Mistral's cabin is finished in leather and carbon, and features 'Lake Blue' stitching on the upholstery. Although both units are aesthetically different, they both feature Rembrandt Bugatti's 'Dancing Elephant' motif, which is seen within the gearshift lever that's machined from a single block of aluminium.
In the Glacier White Mistral, the sculpture is enveloped in 'Italian Red' glass and bounded with hand-crafted wood. In the black Mistral, the sculpture is surrounded by 'Bugatti Light Blue' leather. Both are reflective of the customer's vision and Bugatti's artistic expression.
