Cycle & Carriage (C&C) has announced the Singapore debut of the Maxus eTerron 9, an all-electric 4WD pickup. The new model will join C&C's existing lineup of Maxus electric commercial vehicles, which include the eDeliver 5, 7, and 9.
Driven by a robust dual-motor system producing 325kW and 700Nm of torque, the eTerron 9 is purpose-built to tackle diverse terrains. Its advanced 4WD system includes front and rear axle differential locks, supported by the intelligent All-Terrain System (ATS 3.0). Drivers can switch between six preset driving modes: Eco, Normal, Power, Expert, Mud, and Sand.
The Maxus eTerron 9 also boasts an impressive, class-leading towing capacity of up to 3,500kg (braked) and 750kg (unbraked), making it the most capable electric pickup on the market.
Equipped with a high-capacity 102.2kWh battery, the eTerron 9 delivers an impressive WLTP city range of up to 566km, ensuring reliability for commercial operations that require sustained mobility.
The eTerron 9's front displays a bold, closed grille design that features the Maxus logo at its centre as well as circular lighting elements. Inside, it offers a well thought space and comfort configuration, translated through touches of soft-touch materials, multiple storages, and leather wrapped seats. In addition, it also has dual 12.3-inch infotainment displays that power up as soon as the vehicle starts.
As for cargo capacity, the Maxus eTerron 9 features a 720mm-wide frunk that provides up to 236-litres of storage space. At the rear, it offers up to 1,253-litres of cargo space within its moulded cargo box.
Safety is a top priority for Maxus, and the eTerron 9 reflects this with over 20 advanced safety features, including systems such as Lane Keep Assist and Forward Collision Warning. A standout feature is the Driver Monitoring System, which adds an extra layer of protection by detecting driver fatigue and helps keep attention on the road.
Priced at $150,000 (excluding COE), the Maxus eTerron 9 is now available for viewing and test drives at Cycle & Carriage's Electric Commercial Vehicle Hub, which is located at 330 Ubi Road 3.
