Chevrolet Cobalt Sedan Concept showcased at the Buenos Aires Motor Show

The Cobalt Sedan Concept was developed by General Motors’ Technical Centre in South America, and is expected to go into production by 2012. GM said that the Cobalt will be sold globally with a choice of four-cylinder engines ranging from 1.3 to 1.8-litres, fitted with automatic or manual transmissions, and in petrol, diesel or flex-fuel ethanol form.
The concept car itself features an aero kit comprising of front and rear aprons, side skirts and a discreet boot lid spoiler, plus 17-inch alloy wheels in 255/45 R17 tyres and twin exhaust outlets. The interior meanwhile has been outfitted with plush two-tone leather seats, chrome trim, twin sunroof and even an infotainment system with LCD screens integrated into the front headrests.
The Cobalt Sedan Concept was unveiled at the Buenos Aires Motor Show in Argentina, which runs from June 17 to June 26, and the car hints at a new sub-compact sedan that will be based off the new Chevrolet Sonic/Aveo hatchback.
