Nissan launched its luxury brand in China back in 2007. So the new, entry-level G25 is a response to Chinese market demands. Not an adapted "world" version.
The new car gets a 2.5 litre V6 that produces 232 bhp. Hence the name; G25. It will be available with all the usual Infinity luxury features, but (supposedly) at a cheaper price.
Chinese buyers can also get the new base engine in the EX crossover™called the EX25.
