Citroen has updated the sporty 'Pop' variant of its Ami inner-city commuter.
The car now gets a new door graphic, with the size of its number '2' now reduced to make way for a stylised circle and triangle, said to be inspired by the digital world of gamers. To ensure that the number is not missed, however, the number now comes finished in a livelier yellow with a section of white, instead of the simpler all-white colour it previously adopted.
This graphic is also now finished in Infrared red as opposed to the orange used before - a change also reflected on the car's door sill and quarter window stickers. In case you're wondering, that '2' is used to highlight the fact that the car has been designed for two passengers, sports two identical doors, and also gets two identical front and rear bumpers.
At the quarter panel, the car also gets a new graphic, comprising of a circle featured in two halves. The first comes as a solid semi-circle and the other comprises just an outline - echoing the car's round head lights.
Less prominent for the new car are its new head light bezels, which pair with the black chevron strip that sits under the black bumper reinforcement, both utilised to give the car's front a more assertive look.
In the cabin, this Citroen Ami has had its driving gear selector buttons to the centre console, while the USB socket, ventilation control, hazard warning and heating/demister controls have also been moved for easier accessibility - changes that will come to all Ami models come early 2024.
Citroen states that the Ami has already found over 43,000 customers in 12 different countries since its commercial launch in April 2020.
