According to the French carmaker, the Citroen C3 e-HDi 70 Airdream EGD VTR+ returns a combined fuel economy of 3.4 litres per 100km, and produces CO2 emissions of just 87g/km. This makes it Citroen’s cleanest and most fuel-efficient conventionally-powered car ever.The five-door hatchback combines Citroen’s e-HDi micro-hybrid Stop & Start technology, with a diesel engine that produces 68bhp, and has been tweaked to allow it to deliver a fuel economy of up to 3.2 litres per 100km on the highway.
