Citroen's C5 Aircross reaches sales milestone

The Citroen C5 Aircross SUV has already accumulated over 100,000 sales just one year after its launch.

The SUV's sales success makes it the brand's third best-selling passenger car in the world (after the C3 and the C3 Aircross SUV). Since the beginning of the year, Citroen's SUVs represented more than one in four of its sales worldwide. 

In France, where it is produced, the SUV has already established itself as the second best-selling SUV in the C-segment since the beginning of the year.

The commercial success of the C5 Aircross has played a big part in the momentum of Citroen, which is recording the strongest growth within the 12 best-selling automotive brands in Europe since the start of the year. Backed by its unique design and its benchmark comfort and modularity, as well as its 20 driving aid technologies, the C5 Aircross SUV has also confirmed its appeal with nearly half of all orders being placed for the top-of-the-range version.

Strong demand for the C5 Aircross is expected to continue into 2020 with the launch of the brand in India, where the C5 Aircross SUV will be the first Citroen model sold locally, as well as with the launch of the new C5 Aircross SUV Hybrid revealed last month.
