Harley-Davidson of Singapore has announced the arrival of its highly anticipated all new Pan America 1250 motorcycles in Singapore. The motorcycle is the first in the brand's portfolio of Adventure Touring motorcycles and an extension into a new segment, designed with premium features, outstanding performance, and innovative technology. The Pan America will be made available alongside Harley-Davidson's stellar roll out of Model Year 2021 lineup of motorcycles.
The Pan America 1250 and the Pan America 1250 Special are all new adventure-touring motorcycles, each designed with premium features, outstanding performance, and innovative technology. Powered by the new Revolution Max 1250 V-Twin engine, the Pan America is designed to offer a broad powerband that builds to a rush of high-RPM power.
The Pan America also comes with a host of features such as a Semi-Active Suspension front and rear, Cornering Rider Safety Enhancements like Electronically Linked Braking (ELB), Antilock Braking System (ABS), Traction Control System (TCS), Drag-Torque Slip Control System (DSCS), Hill Hold Control (HHC) and Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
Ride modes electronically control the performance characteristics of the motorcycle, and the level of technology intervention. The Pan America 1250 Special model has seven modes that consist of five pre-programmed riding modes - Road, Sport, Rain, Off-Road and Off-Road Plus - and two that can be customised by the owner.
The Pan America models feature a 6.8-inch TFT touchscreen that displays all instrumentation and infotainment functions. The screen tilts on its mount to afford the rider an adjustable viewing position and the touchscreen function is disabled when the motorcycle is in motion, but hand controls can be used to manage many functions of the screen display. The touchscreen unit is in a robust sealed case designed to withstand the off-road environment, and to be weather-resistant and dust-resistant. The touch screen functions when a rider is wearing gloves, but is not affected by rain or other natural inputs.
Harley-Davidson of Singapore Dealership will be hosting a virtual launch for local riders and enthusiasts. Hosted by Tim Nga, the virtual launch will feature experts including Tommy Lee, certified off-road instructor from Route 55, as well as Harley-Davidson of Singapore's Motorcycle Customisation Specialist, Gerald, and Master Technician/Supervisor, Abraham, as they share more about Harley-Davidson's first Adventure Touring motorcycle, its technology behind the design, and discover what it means to reimagine adventure touring.
To tune in to the session, visit Harley-Davidson of Singapore's Facebook page or visit this link on 28 July 2021 to meet the motorcycles, and be one of the first to own the latest model. Pricing for the Pan America 1250 starts at $46,900, and the Pan America 1250 Special starts at $56,900.
