Harley-Davidson has unveiled four new 2024 models to usher in a new era of touring performance, technology, and design.
Kicking things off are the new 2024 Street Glide and Road Glide models. Both these models are now more powerful, thanks to an updated Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-Twin engine that gets an enhanced intake and exhaust flow, alongside a new cooling system for raised thermal comfort for the rider.
The models also offer selectable drive modes, and now utilise a 12.3-inch TFT colour screen that runs Skyline OS. This new display replaces the former analogue instrumentation and most switches of both models. Both models also get a new, 200W audio amplifier that powers a pair of fairing-mounted speakers.
Both models also get improved aerodynamics. The bikes are said to reduce subjective helmet buffeting at highway speed by an average of 60% and to further raise rider comfort, they also get a redesigned seat with new padding material.
Also new is the 2024 CVO Road Glide ST, the quickest, fastest, and most-sophisticated performance bagger ever produced by Harley-Davidson.
The model is available in two premium paint choices: Golden White Pearl or Raven Metallic, and comes with a Screamin' Eagle graphic on the fairing sides and fuel tank, inspired by the Screamin' Eagle Harley-Davidson Factory motorcycles raced in the MotoAmerica Mission King of the Baggers series.
Powering the CVO Road Glide ST is a model-exclusive Milwaukee-Eight 121 High Output V-Twin engine that produces a total of 126bhp and 193Nm of torque - the most horsepower and torque ever from a factory-installed engine in a production Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
And to best utilise all this power, the total weight of the model has also been brought down to 363kg thanks to the use of lightweight titanium shells and forged carbon fibre end caps, a forged carbon fibre composite front fender, seat cowl, and tank console, as well as a composite oil pan.
The model also comes equipped with fully adjustable front and rear suspension that makes use of Showa shock absorbers at the rear alongside premium Brembo braking components. A 500W amplifier powers Rockford Fosgate Stage II 6.5-inch fairing speakers on this model.
Also new is the CVO Pan America, the CVO programme's first adventure touring motorcycle. The model is said retain all the features of the Pan America 1250 Special model including the smooth and powerful Revolution Max 1250 engine, semi-active front and rear suspension, touch screen display, selectable ride modes, and Daymaker Adaptive Headlamp technology.
The model is outfitted with a host of rugged accessories including Adaptive ride height suspension, rugged aluminium top and side cases, a Screamin' Eagle quickshifter, tubeless laced wheels, auxiliary LED forward lighting, and an aluminium skid plate.
