Honda Japan begins sales of all-new N-One e: mini-EV

Under the grand concept of "e:Daily Partner", the N-One e: was developed as a vehicle to serve as an "everyday partner" and features a spacious cabin that houses a thin battery under the floor.
With the dive-down mechanism, the rear seats can be folded to create a flat floor that extends from the cargo area, and with the tip-up mechanism, the rear seat cushions can be lifted up to accommodate tall items. In addition, to realise a layout that enables the driver to be in a more natural driving posture, the steering wheel was moved closer to the driver.
As for its exterior design, its front fenders and the entire tailgate including rear glass with curved surfaces are characterised by a pronounced tautness. It also has a front grille made of materials recycled from bumpers recovered from end-of-life Honda vehicles.
This sustainability cause extends to the interior, where plant-derived bio-resin is used for the beige decorative part placed across the upper part of the instrument panel, and materials recycled from used PET bottles and other sources are utilised for the insulators and floor carpet.
The N-One e: also offers a WLTC range of 295km, with Honda stating that it also has a fast-charging time of approximately 30 minutes. It will also be available in two grades: The standard e: G and the higher-grade e: L that offers a nine-inch Honda Connect display, 14-inch aluminium wheels, a genuine leather-wrapped steering wheel, and fast charging capability as standard.
