Starting from 16 April 2026, Honda Cars dealerships across Japan will begin accepting pre-orders for the new Honda Super-One compact EV, which is set to begin sales in late May 2026.
On its exterior, blister fenders encasing the wide tyres emphasise a low and wide stance, while its aerodynamic design - developed exclusively for this model - combines practical features that support driving performance.
The Super-One will be available in five exterior colours, including Boost Violet Pearl, a new colour developed exclusively for the model.
Inside, the Super-One feature model-exclusive sports seats, blue surface material with an asymmetric layout, and an eight-speaker Bose Premium Sound System as standard - this also makes it the first Honda compact model in Japan to feature a Bose sound system.
Moreover, Boost Mode, developed exclusively for this model, increases the power output (from 47kW of normal modes to 70kW) and synchronises both its seven-speed transmission and Active Sound Control system to generate powerful engine sound and sharp gearshift feel.
In addition, the long illumination on the passenger-side instrument panel lights up in blue during normal driving modes and changes to purple when Boost Mode is activated.
And by adopting a dedicated chassis with a widened tread, the overall vehicle width has increased as compared to N Series models. A thin battery is positioned under the middle of the floor to concentrate heavy components and lower the centre of gravity.
Prior to the start of pre-orders, Honda has said that the Super-One will be on display at the Honda booth at the 2026 Automobile Council in Japan, which runs from 10 to 12 April 2026.
