Honda recalls 1.3 million 2007-2008 Fit's

It's starting to seem like things are just not built to last these days. And all of those computerised parts that they use in cars aren't helping matters.

The latest recall comes from the patron saint of reliability, Honda. It seems that the plating used in the wiring harness connector for the low-beam headlights "can become worn after repeated use".

This will cause the connector to corrode, thus affecting the functionality of the low-beam headlights.

Naturally, this could make driving at night rather difficult.

The recall covers 1,355,217 Honda Fit's made for the 2007 & 2008 model years. Owners are asked to visit their local Honda dealer for a free fix.

Honda said that no accidents have been reported.
